What is a Happy Clinic® Laser Acne Treatment?
The Happy Clinic® Laser Acne Treatment is the use of Sciton's BBL/IPL with 3 different settings that target the killing of the bacteria that causes acne, reduces redness and inflammation, as well as stimulate collagen regrowth of the skin.
How does Happy Clinic® Laser Acne Treatment work?
The Happy Clinic® Laser Acne Treatment uses the BBL 420 wavelength to kill the acne bacteria, the 560 wavelength to reduce inflammation and redness and then the 590 wavelength to stimulate collagen regrowth. As an added benefit, patients may also see a reduction of their facia hair growth.

Will the Laser Acne Treatment be uncomfortable?
The procedure is tolerable, feeling like a warm shock. The Happy Clinic® Laser Acne Treatment has minimal discomfort associated with it.
How many Laser Acne Treatments will I need?
The number of treatments needed will vary from patient to patient and your physician will personalize a treatment plan based on the level of improvement you desire. Your physician may also combine your treatment with other popular aesthetic procedures to further personalize your treatment. Typical patients need 4 treatments spaced 2-4 weeks apart, but most patients will start seeing results after the first treatment.
What will happen during the Laser Acne Treatments?
A numbing cream will be applied to the areas to be treated, after which you will wait 20-30 minutes for the cream to take effect. Your eyes will be protected with safety shields or glasses. You will feel a warming sensation as the light is absorbed by the targeted areas. Your procedure may take a few minutes to half an hour depending on the size of the area to be treated and the type of procedure performed. Your physician will discuss all of your options with you.

How long will it take to recover from the Happy Clinic® Laser Acne treatment?
This is a noninvasive and gentle procedure with virtually no downtime. In most cases, you are able to return to work, apply makeup, and resume most of your activities immediately.
What should I expect after the Happy Clinic® Laser Acne treatment?
You may experience some redness that should resolve within a few hours.
What aftercare do I need from the Happy Clinic® Laser Acne Treatment?
It is important to follow your physicians instructions. You may be given some skin care products and instructions on how to use them. You will be sensitive to ultra-violet light and you must avoid direct sun exposure until completely healed. Fully cover your skin or use a good sunscreen whenever you go outdoors.
