What is the Denver Triton Hair Laser?

What happens during the Triton laser hair removal?
Before the treatment, the area to be treated will be cleansed. Some patients receive a numbing gel. Numbing the area to be treated helps when a small area will be treated, and the skin is very sensitive. It takes about 30 to 60 minutes for a numbing gel to work.
The laser treatment will take place in a room set up specifically for laser treatments. Everyone in the room must wear protective eyewear during the procedure. The skin is held taut to perform the procedure, and the skin is treated with a laser. Many patients say that the laser pulses feel like warm pinpricks or a rubber band being snapped against the skin.
A laser removes hair by vaporizing it. This causes small plumes of smoke that have a sulfur-like smell.
How long does the procedure take?
How long your treatment lasts depends on the size of the area being treated. Treating the upper lip takes minutes. If you have a large area like the back or legs treated, your treatment may last more than an hour.
Can all skin colors be treated?

Can in-grown hairs be treated?
Yes, laser energy delivered by Triton can be used to remove all types of hair. When shaving bumps cover follicles, the laser energy can still penetrate to the hair follicle for a safe and effective treatment. Laser treatment will also reduce the number of ingrown hairs over time.
How many treatments will I need?
The mosaic combination of wavelengths addresses hair removal at different stages of the hair growth cycle. This means that deep hairs can be treated at the same time as newly emerging follicles. Thus, patients can see greater results in fewer sessions.

Results vary from patient to patient, and some areas may require additional treatments and “maintenance” treatments to maintain consistency.

Post-procedure for Denver Triton Laser
What should I expect after treatment with the Triton laser hair removal laser?
Some redness and slight swelling may be present in the area that has been treated. However, this should subside within a few hours. If any prolonged redness or swelling occurs, please consult your aesthetician immediately. Keep the treated area clean, use at least SPF 15 sunscreen when going outdoors, and follow physician instructions carefully.
How long will the results of laser hair removal last?
Most patients remain hair free for months or even years after completing a series of treatments. If some of the hair regrows, it will likely be less noticeable. To keep the area free of hair, a patient may need maintenance laser treatments.
